The ongoing evaluation goes beyond rating agency assessments and results in Horizon's own due diligence of available short term fixed income securities.

This analysis not only identifies opportunities but occasionally provides early detection of overvalued securities, which Horizon can sell or avoid altogether. Mitigating risk is often as much about avoiding potential problems as it is identifying undervalued securities.

Horizon's Credit Analyst also prepares special reports on various sectors in the short term securities universe, and provides ongoing research on macro- and micro-economic themes.
