Risk Management

Every facet of Horizon's operation - organizational structure, technology platforms, investment methods and reporting systems - has been engineered, refined and is constantly reviewed to provide strong risk management.

Clients' cash reserves are held with a custodian (either engaged by Horizon or chosen by the client). This ensures that these important assets are kept separate from all other entities and remain unencumbered, even in the most extreme circumstances.

Client portfolios are reviewed daily. Using portfolio parameters established by each client, Horizon's systems test, monitor and evaluate a variety of risk management measures critical to consistent portfolio returns.

Finally, all transactions are reconciled daily, both internally and with the custodian.
